No. You have become the Vartma Patha Pradarshaka (Path Showing) Guru by introducing a person to chanting the Holy Names and chanting with him or her. Responsibility or transfer of karma only occurs when the Guru and Disicple both mutually agree for such a relationship at the time of Diksha. A Patha Pradarshaka Guru does not take any responsibility of karma of the student whom he or she is teaching or guiding. Of course, in one way since we all are part and parcels of the Lord, we may feel some responsibility to bring other souls (our brothers) to the shelter of His Holy Names and Lotus Feet and that is certainly very pleasing to Lord Gaura Krishna.
