Re: Chanting in Guru's association

Dear Mihir, Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna!  Association with the Guru can be obtained by Vani (remembering and meditating on his instructions) and Vapu (personally being in his physical presence). Both are effectively beneficial for Bhakti. But Guru's Vapu without understanding Guru's Vani will lead us to not appreciate his association fully and thus not derive the full benefit. For example when the Guru travels, many other common people may associate with or see the Guru but since they have not read or heard or associated with his Vani, they are not able to appreciate his presence.

Daaso'smi, BR Sadhu Swami Gaurangapada.
