Inattention

I've been noticing lately how inattention can happen without me even realizing it.  I had been thinking I was attentive, but on closer inspection discovered all these ways that I wasn't. Some of the things  I realized I was doing are:

- Opening and closing doors while going from one room to another
- Turning lights on and off
- Adjusting the thermostat
- Playing with my counter beads
- Adjusting the strap on my bead bag

All of these things can really wait at least until a round is finished, and be done inbetween rounds (or not be done at all, like playing with the counter beads).  I was doing them unconsciously, not actually even aware that I was doing them at all. It was only by really thinking about what it means to be inattentive that I discovered these things, and now, I am able to correct them.
