Chanting and Driving

This is something I used to do when travelling to work early each morning....at the time I saw no harm in chanting and driving - it was the only time that was practical for me to chant.....and boy was I wrong!

I found out the hard way about inattentive chanting.....it is offensive to the Holy Name and severely reduces your chances of making any progress in spritiual life.  After this realisation, I arranged to chant after I came home from work and after attending to family dealings....I would go for a Japa walk to avoid household distractions and was able to properly chant the Holy Name in peace.
