Concentrate Everytime

This week in the Japa Room we mainly talked about the importance of remembering the Lord at the time of death...how can we concentrate on our chanting so much that we can be thinking of the mantra the whole day. Many things were discussed like hearing but not only when chanting also while doing arati, kirtan, classes of the Bhagavad Gita or Srimad Bhagavatam....by doing these with proper concentration we can be thinking of the Lord most of the time and our senses can be engaged in remembering Him at any time. It's really hard to remember that many people are dying in wars and we never know when our time will come but we have got a good advantage - we have taken part in a wonderful movement brought by Srila Prabhupada, which enables us to have contact with the process of chanting.
I myself feel completely protected when I chant the Holy Names, I feel connected to my Gurudev, Srila Prabhupada and Krsna.
It's something I can't live without, maybe not because I am having a taste because it's to early to say that but because I feel the necessity of this chanting in my life. I have improved a lot as a person and as a devotee and in all aspects of my life...so I really want to have more of those changes and become a better chanter.
