Amazing Grace - Thank You Krsna

Hare Krsna Maha-mantra Ki Jai!��

Thank you sadhus for allowing me to partake in this wonderful group.�� I am praying for the mercy of all of the Vaishnavas so that I may develop suddha-ruci for the holy name.

I wanted to share with all of you as my first post, a personal meditation that spontaneously came to me today.�� I was sitting in a kirtan, trying to focus on hearing the holy names of Radha and Krishna with great difficulty.�� Instead of relishing the sweet kirtan, my pride was causing me to judge the mrdanga player, or the way the singer was pronouncing the names, etc. ��I wasn't in a spiteful or angry mood, however I was completely distracted and ignorant of the spiritual benefit present for my reception.��

Due to the mercy of Sri Krishna through His holy name and through his devotees, I became conscious of my distraction and offense. Then this prayer became manifest in my heart.

I began to pray, "O Sri Krishna! O Sri Radhe! Please melt my stone heart so I can serve You and Your devotees purely!"

I meditated on this prayer while simultaneously giving great attention to hearing the holy names; then the taste for kirtan and the consciousness to be a recipient of Sri Krishna's mercy came to me, at least in a minute degree.��

By Sri Krishna's mercy I was again able to relish a particle of the sweetness present in Sri Krishna nama. ����
