The Precious Jewel

We had amazing sessions this weekend in the Japa Room. The topic was about the importance of composing a prayer for reciting before Japa....then we were taught the emphasis of developing a relationship with the Lord, first by positioning ourselves in a humble way towards the Spiritual Master prayer, Panca Tattva and also our personal prayers which will be the topic of next week.

We were reminded about the essential guidelines of attentive chanting that can be aquired through reading the mantra while chanting at the same time...always bringing the mind back to hearing the mantra and concentration on the sound vibration.

It was stated how the Lord helps in our path when we pray for assistance....by taking shelter of the Lord we can really feel His presence. The Holy names are for very few - for sure the desire of Lord Chaitanya is to spread this Sankirtan Movement but still very few have this opportunity of taking advantage of chanting the Holy names.

We are these few, so why not taking full advantage of this process and dedicate ourselves 100% to it then we can receive all the benefits of this precious jewel and develop a real relationship with Krsna. We have learned that this is a very rare opportunity and we should take it seriously if we want to see Krsna face to face in this life.
