Everything Depends On Krsna
Our Japa Room today was very nectarian, with lots of good realisations from devotees. We can see how each one of us is developing our chanting. Becoming more aware of offenses, being attentive of how to chant constantly, paying attention to each word, pronouncing them distinctively and also concentrating on the sound vibration. Those basic topics are so important that just by hearing we can apply all the others easily.
Our japa should be the best time of the day...when we dedicate our time to the Lord so for sure we will be occupied in His devotional service because this is the meaning of this chanting.
These names are the beginning of our spiritual life and at the time of death they should to be the last thing to remember.
The results of this chanting were also discussed and the conclusion is that we are dependant on the Lord, we just need to be engaged in this process and if the Lord wants to reveal Himself to us He will. Time to experience this taste and just depend on Him and that's the real meaning of tolerance - being always humble to understand that we can't control things but surrendering will make us achieve pure devotional service. Like it says in this verse from the Siksastakam:
"I know no one but Krsna as my Lord, and He shall remain so even if He handles me roughly by His embrace or makes me brokenhearted by not being present before me. He is completely free to do anything and everything, for He is always my worshipful Lord, unconditionally."
