Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna!  The loving nature and relationship of the soul for Lord Gaura Krishna is an eternal fact and is never destroyed even when the soul is in the brahmajyoti impersonal effulgence. It is said to be spiritual suicide because it is very difficult to revive that loving nature in the impersonal light due to very decreased availability of the association of advanced devotees there. Thus, the soul gets stuck there for billions or trillions of years. It is certainly reversible for the soul if the Lord wants it or if the soul meets merciful realized devotees of the Lord like Shrila Narada Muni in the brahmajyoti who certainly travel through the brahmajyoti many times to deliver such souls due to the desire of the Lord. But even then this may happen after millions of years. Therefore, aspiring for oneness with the brahman effulgence is virtually spiritual suicide for the soul.
