Our Relationship With Krsna

This week we are surrounded by messages talking about Lord Krsna's advent. The one we have been dedicating our lives as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the one we pray everyday before our chanting, the one we share our problems...who speaks in our hearts...who bless our daily life. He is the all attractive - He has all six opulences: all wealth, strengh, influence, knowledge, renunciation and beauty.

He is known as Madana Mohana, the one who enchants even cupid and His consort Srimate Radharani is Madana Mohana mohini, the enchanter of the enchanter of the cupid. For the inhabitants of Vrindavan He is just a cowherd boy and for mother Yasoda He came as a son who she treats as a common child - this is pure love. All the inhabitants of Vrindavan are pure devotees of the Lord and have been engaged in pure devotional service. This should be our desire, our natural wish when we chant....it's mine...everytime I take my beads I think of a relationship I could have with the Lord, even if I am not prepared to perform it yet. According to our founder acarya  Srila Prabhupada, pure devotional service is only attained by strong desire to have it.

I hope this week fills us with this wish of serving our Lord and everytime we chant on our beads we remember we can develop a relationship with Him based on love and service, so maybe one day our chanting can become pure and complete...that everytime we pronouce Krsna's names we can experience His presence and feel true bliss.
